DESCRIPTION

The city of Kerman is located in southeastern Persia and has been traditionally traditional on the handmade carpet. Kerman carpets are very popular in the western market. They are characterized by natural, shiny colors in the shades of red and blue. The designs are recurring geometric figures that depict nature, trees and gardens and pendants around which there is a flower bordeaux.
The warp and the weft are cotton. The pile is of very good quality wool and the knots are Persian and very dense. All of these features make the carpet durable and at the same time very attractive to classic lovers.
Kerman carpets are also produced in China.
The art of carpet construction in China began many centuries ago, when the named Persian weavers came to the country and taught their art to produce rugs mainly for tycoons. So began the production of carpets in China with very good quality sheep wool, based on Persian standards of style and design.
Today the country produces and exports a huge number of handmade carpets at more affordable prices than the corresponding Persian, modern and classic designs.
