Handmade Carpet Pakistan 245249 223X167

DESCRIPTION

The special Ziegler carpets were old from the Zieglel tribe in Persia and are also known as Chobi. In 1883 a German company named Ziegler & CO founded factories in Persia and took over the export of the Ziegler oriental carpets to the European market. That is why it was of particular importance to their design to be adapted to the needs and requirements of the West.
Today, they are mainly woven in the wider area between Pakistan and Afghanistan, where they use old, traditional techniques.
Their colors derived from herbal dyes are refined, antique, continuous flower -like patterns, and very popular is the design of SYLTANABAD with soft, antique colors in the tones of gold and red. Their unique style fits perfectly with both modern modern furniture and traditional, classic decoration. The knots are dense, their tread is short and used durable Himalayan Hmalar wool. These are very very handmade carpets, perfect for those who want to make the difference.
