Blankets

To make the right blanket choice, you should answer the following questions:

• What size blanket do I need? (depends on the size of the bed and the number of people sleeping there)
• What type of blanket do I want? (depending on personal preferences, needs, and the season or climate — e.g. velour, fleece, summer, etc.)
• What material do I prefer? (e.g. cotton, wool, fleece, velvet, etc.)
• What design and color do I want?

There are two ways (depending on what the care label says):

Washing a blanket in the washing machine:

1. Use a washing program for delicate fabrics.
2. Use mild (liquid) detergent and avoid bleach.
3. Wash at low temperature (30°C).

Washing a blanket by hand:

1. Place the blanket in a basin of lukewarm or hot water (approximately 30-40°C).
2. Add detergent and mix.
3. Rub the blanket gently with your hands or a soft brush to remove stains.
4. Empty the water from the basin and rinse the blanket with clean water.
5. Fill the basin with water again and let the blanket soak for another two hours.

If you place the blanket directly on your body and use it every day, then it is a good idea to wash it every 1-2 weeks. If you use it less often, you can wash it every 1-2 months.

1. Make sure it is completely dry after washing.
2. Fold it well and place it in a sterile, airtight package/bag.

Air them out in the sun or wash them with a little vinegar in the rinse cycle. Vinegar neutralizes unpleasant odors and keeps the blanket fresh.
