Handmade Carpet Emper'S Gard. Wool 200X250

The story of Aubusson carpets dates back to the Renaissance period. The first looms are likely to have been created in the city of Aubusson, Central France by Flemish refugees and carpet production does not begin until the 16th century. The Aubusson carpet continued, although the original pattern evolved into modern colors and many other traditional designs. You can find French art deco or Persian touches on the modern Aubusson carpet. The Aubusson rugs were and are quite expensive because they are high quality, handmade but durable enough to use daily. Chinese laboratories are popular for the use of Chinese wool in the construction of Aubusson carpets and exporting them to various countries, where the popularity of the name continues to exist. Today, then, it is still possible to enjoy these rugs, at affordable prices for the general public. The property of an Aubusson remains a symbol of prestige and specialization.
