Grinding Surface: 1000 Hard

Quality:

• Aluminum Oxide & Silicon

Dimensions:

• Length: 18 cm, Width: 6 cm, Height: 1.5 cm

• Weight: 358g

• Instructions for Use:

• Soak the stone in the water for about 10 minutes. When you no longer see air bubbles rising to the top of the water, then the stone has absorbed the correct amount of water.

• Place the stone on a flat, non-slip surface (eg on a towel) with the side you wish to use facing up. The choice of side depends on the size of the blade problem.

• Move the blade back and forth across the stone several times, at the correct angle for your knife.

• While sharpening, it is important that the sharpening plate remains wet. The small particles released from the stone form an abrasive substance when they come into contact with water.

• Repeat the process on the other side of the blade.

• Once this is done, turn the stone over to the thin side and repeat the process.

• Finally, rinse your knives in warm water and leave the plate outside until it is completely dry.
